IT CAME!

We received our I171 form which means our I-600 application was approved. This gets sent to the National Visa Center and then sent to Korea. Since the Korean Ministry has already approved Bok for travel and he had his physical, we are only waiting for "the TRAVEL call." Now I am nervous but know that he will be here soon. I am requesting suggestions from you if you are reading this as to what gifts I can gt the foster family....

Paperwork Paperwork!

We were just told that Bok is the first child to be approved by the Korean Ministry (Gov't) for Bethany this year! I guess you could say he is our New Year's baby!

Our paperwork was now sent to immigration for approval and then they will send an I171H form to us which we need to have Bethany send to the US embassy in Seoul for processing. Once that is good and done, we should get a call... I think the last part of the wait is the longest.

Reading good support books on toddler adoption! He will need lots of hugs and patience!

We look forward to spending our "gotcha day" with you!... Today you are two years old!... Wow... We hope to see you soon! Daddy will be travelling to come pick you up and then you will meet your forever family!

Sent some pics of the family and a stuffed toy!

New Picture of Him! And.. today we sent our first care package to him in South Korea. It had a little TY elephant, two little cars, and a picture book with translations in it so he will know who we are!... I also tried to do a youtube video but I am not sure he will be able to see it. If he can, I will have Maggie do some English lessons for him! Post any ideas, please!

REFERRAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got a referral for a beautiful little boy, Bok-Hyeon. He will be two on January 10, 2010. Top pic is in September and bottom was in January! We have paid the country fee and the latest update and are now waiting. We have not yet finalized a name but know that Bok-Hyeon will always be in his name somewhere! The wait now is the worst. We will be sending him pictures of us so he will not be totally shocked to see the molters walk in his life... Scary Thought!....WOW!

Summer Update

We went to Grand Rapids this past June to get fingerprinted. We received approval to apply for an I-600 form. This is needed to apply for an orphan petition when a referral is mades. SO... the long and short of it is that we are waiting now... There is an unofficial forum that show you where people are on their adoption plan. The link is : South Korean Forum Link .. By the way... on the waiting list, we are TCWTITAN... and are not looking for twins, however.
